the location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. parking in the area is expensive.

Nice staff and great localization are the only reasons your may want to stay there

There was water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom with funghi, the bed was squeaking and the walls are very thin - it's very noisy at night

In a nutshell - great value for money. We stayed there for just one night but everything and I really mean everything was great. The room we got had no breathtaking view (don't expect that in the city centre) but it was comfortable, cosy and clean. The staff was very helpful - they kept our luggage when we checked out because we wanted to sightsee more. The hotel has got a lift so you do not have to carry your heavy bags upstairs. It is located in a great spot, near the Santa Justa Elevator so you can sightsee the city centre on foot. In general - we really recommend it!

It would have been nice to receive a second pillow without asking. I almost gave a good review, but dealing with an outside phone number for the remote deposit was quite inconvenient, to say the least.

Location- in tha center , near the metro station, river, street with shops, Catle. очень удобное месторасположение-находится в центре, рядом станция метро, река, улица с магазинами, Замок.

The location is super central. Don't miss the Portas do Sol Viewpoint for amazing views and the Lisbon Oceanarium for a fun day out. The staff are quite kind and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily, great.

It did get pretty noisy at night. Thin walls meant that we could hear other guests, a bit hard to sleep. Just something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper!

Noise. You hear every step in corridor. You are waked up every morning by personnel hanging laundry. Strange smell from restaurant below.

Room had holes in the walls that were covered with glued rags, some sort of art .....gave us a spooky feeling, but the room was clean

Consider requesting a room with internal views for a quieter night's sleep, especially since some street-facing rooms can be noisy.

Staff were friendly. They all speak a decent level of English. The location is superb for visiting all the spots in Lisbon and Sintra. The hotel is old but for this price at this very location it beats everything. Hot shower and wifi works well. The elevator is convenient. Overall at this price it is almost perfect. You can't ask for more.

I stayed at Pensao Norte in late November. It was rainy days and there is no heating in the room so you do feel cold at night.

Cheap price.

No hot water pressure on toilet. Sometimes no hot water at all available. No breakfast available.

Great location near popular attractions.

The noise level was unbearable, especially with street sounds at 4 AM. The shower setup was bizarre and cramped. The lack of hangers and poor ventilation was frustrating, as my clothes didn't dry well during my entire stay.

Large window good for night time with no air con. Two great restaurants at your door step. Great staff, don't forget not 24 hr reception as another traveller did :-)

The hotel was newly decorated and the stuff pleasant, unbeatable location right in the centre. Location: the property was near to the city center, public transport such as metro/bus and Castelo de S Jorge. Truly enjoyed the way my standard queen room was arranged with bathroom as well as shower.
